It is the year 2000 Plus 370 or 2370 and space travel has become routine. Space cruise liner passenger service’s are on regularly scheduled in the spaceways. The Space Cruise Liner Golden Star is commencing her maiden voyage with 750 paying passengers for a cruise to the Moon, Mars and beyond.
In addition to the 750 passengers Inter Galactic News Service (IGNS) reporter Whitey Ford bullies his way aboard and on the cruise. Will he live to regret this manuever?

After blastoff and the Space Liner Golden Star is well on her pleasure cruise a meteor out of nowhere slams into the ship aft of the Operating Deck severing the after portion of the ship.
A small number of survivors are stranded in the forward bridge are of the ship. After the survivors realize their situation, which is they are off course and they have no way to send a Space Craft SOS they become discouraged without any hope of rescue.
Despondent, the Captain commits suicide by going outside the ship without a spacesuit and the Communication Officer Commander Montgomery is left in command of the few survivors.
Then they find a small lifeboat drifting in the wreckage. One of the surviving crewmen don’s a spacesuit and hauls it in next to the surviving part of the ship. However, it is only a one-man lifeboat and it is unuseable.
What now? Will the survivors of this futuristic Titanic be rescued like the original Titanic?
