“I was alone in a room 100,000 miles from Earth. My body lay dead before me, and yet I spoke, I felt and lived. Behind me lay a tortured world, before me the moon and destiny.” So begins this story of Flying Saucers and aliens.

In the year 2012, for the past several months, since the launch of the first secret rocket “Zeus” there have been Flying Saucers hovering around the White Sands Missile Base. The leadership decide to destroy the Flying Saucer with the launch of “Zeus 2.” This rocket will be equipped with mass attraction and proximity fuses with 5,000 pounds of the high explosive Hexinite.

After the flying saucer is destroyed the head of the project Dr. Andrew Bronson and his assistant Eileen Harkness are kidnapped by another flying saucer.

The alien aboard the flying saucer calls himself Walter and that he is a member of the Core. The Core are a race of nearly immortal beings from the solar system Rigel, also known as Beta Orionis 500 light years away. The Core have been researching and conducting social and psychological experiments on the Earth for the past 3,000 years observing human behavior and in some cases influencing our development. All to keep from being bored.

Walter, the alien, tells Dr. Bronson and Eileen he is taking them to their base on the dark side of the moon. Where they will use a matter transmitter to travel to their system Rigel. He also tells them that the Core are beings without bodies composed entirely of energy. That they manufacture bodies to inhabit while doing their “research” on Earth.

Over the millennia The Core have planted “operatives” throughout our history. One of the most famous “operatives” was Alexander The Great.
