Dimension X
The Dimension X Radio Show ran from April 8, 1950 to September 29, 1951 for a total of 50 episodes. The first 13 episodes were broadcast live, and the remainder were pre-recorded. Dimension X was Radio’s early 1950′s premier series of adult science fiction tales. The series opened with The Outer Limit, an Ernest Kinoy adaptation of Graham Doar’s short story from The Saturday Evening Post (December 24, 1949), about alien contact. This story was very popular and over the next few years aired on several other Old Time Radio Shows such as X-1, Escape, Suspense, Beyond Tomorrow, Exploring tomorrow and probably others. A week later (April 15, 1950), the program presented Jack Williamson’s most famous story, With Folded Hands, first published in the July 1947 issue of Astounding Science Fiction.
Below is a list of all 50 episodes with their broadcast dates. Over time I will be adding each and everyone of these episodes to the Spacemen’s Luck website so you can hear these excellent programs yourself. You will be able to add your comments about each of these episodes and rate them using our star rating system.

Tom Corbett Space Cadet Show Logo
This the fifteenth episode in the Tom Corbett, Space Cadet radio show series is a lost episode. The title is known because Episode 16 is titled “Astro Lost in Ice Cave Part 2″. Following the show format and schedule of twice weekly broadcasts (part one on Tuesday and part two on Thursday) This episode is believed to have been broadcast on Tuesday 19 February 1952. It is one of the tragedies of collecting old time radio (OTR) that many of these old gems are lost forever and only occasionally does one of these lost shows turn up from a previously unknown source.
Broadcast Date: 52-02-19

Welcome to the Spacemen’s Luck website. Here we can enjoy our reminisces from our childhood memories of the age of space.
My name is Thurman “Ray” Plumlee and I am a baby boomer who was born in the mid 40′s (specifically 1947) and enjoyed the radio and TV shows of the 1950′s. My personal favorites are Science Fiction Theater, Tom Corbett, Space Cadet, Commando Cody the Rocketman, Rocky Jones, Men Into Space, CDR Buzz Cory of the Space Patrol and Superman.
That is not to say I didn’t enjoy the other shows like Captain Video, Dimension X
With the Russians Sputnik, our Werner Von Braun and all these fine science fiction TV shows airing it is no wonder the the 1950′s heralded the beginning of the “age of space.”
So come on in and enjoy the “age of space”.
