This is the first Space Patrol episode where the radio show program was not lost and is available below for your listening enjoyment. Space Patrol Officer Lieutenant Grayson reports to the Commander demanding a Brain-O-Graph so he can prove to himself he really saw what he thinks he saw. A hole in empty space. But before he is given the Brain-O-Graph ships start disappearing and the Commander suddenly believes him and they head to the Terra V to go investigate.

Once Lieutenant Grayson gets them to the right location they find the hole. Commander Corey contacts Professor Jocha who explains to the Commander that the hole is probably a “psychloplex” or a gate to another universe.

Tom Corbett, Space Cadet first aired on Television as a TV series from Oct 1950 to 1956. During the shows run it also had a separate series running six months on radio from January 1, 1952 – June 26, 1952. This article will be concentrating on the radio version of Tom Corbett, Space Cadet.

In both the radio and TV versions the stories followed the adventures of Cadet Tom Corbett, Cadet Astro, and Cadet Roger Manning, at the Space Academy as they qualified to become Officers in the elite Solar Guard. The stories centered around their cadet training and the many adventures that the happened into.
