
Journey into Space
In the last episode of our story Operation Luna episode 9 Jet, Mitch, Doc and Lemmy are airborne in the strange aliens spaceship, when a 3-D Televiewer turns on and they can see the country side passing under them. After a while a small city comes into view then passes on by as they continue to travel for quite some time then the ship begins to land. We join them in this episode just as they are landing.
After a short time they re-establish contact with the mysterious alien. He shows them an image on the 3-D Televiewer and Doc recognizes that he had seen that image before on the moon. The alien explains that it was one of several images they had transmitted to the earthmen in an attempt to open communication with them.

Dimension X
A not so successful Madison Avenue ad executive named Syd Ryan is setting at his office desk when his assistant Oliver comes in and states that there is potential client waiting to see him. Syd has him sent in. The client identifies himself as simply Looshar a Martian and says he wants to engage the ad agency for a campaign to announce the “Martians are Coming.” Thinking he’s a nut Syd immediately begins to throw Looshar out when he offers a $5,000 cash retainer.
Once Syd gets his creative thoughts going he proposes a suspense campaign with some mysterious press releases announcing “The Martians are coming. ” Looshar wants the ad campaign to culminate in a parade on June 1st. The parade will herald the Martians arrival. Looshar immediately approves authorizing a one million dollar budget. Looshar continues that “We are selling a concept,” he tells the ad-man Syd Ryan. “The concept of invasion–from Mars.”

As our story opens Commander Corey and Cadet Happy are onboard the Space Battle Cruiser Terra V, en route to Lowell City, Mars to meet with Assistant Security Chief Tonga. Tonga has been on Mars for several weeks on a special assignment by Space Patrol Security Chief Major Robertson to investigate the theft of critical materials of government and private manufacturing plants.
Corey and Happy are to meet Tonga at a library in a microfilm viewing room where Tonga will brief the Commander on the findings of her investigation so far.

X-1 Classic Science Fiction Radio Show
Based on the short story by Frederick Brown the story starts and ends with “The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the door…”
The show’s announcer begins by saying “Tonight, we have a strange story to tell, a sweet, bloodcurdling little story that is really only two sentences long — ‘The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock at the door…’” The story goes on and elaborates on those two sentences and builds a more complete story around them.
The story is about Walter Phelan, associate professor of anthropology at Nathan University, the last man on Earth. An Immortal space faring race, from Planet Seven in the Third Galaxy in the Fourth Quadrant, calling themselves the Zan have invaded the earth and have killed off all life other than pairs of animal specimens for their zoo.

Journey into Space
In the last episode of our story Operation Luna episode 8 Jet, Mitch, Doc and Lemmy are investigating a mysterious ship which has landed near Spaceship Luna. As they are about to approach the mysterious ship a hatch opens up. They decide to go investigate and as a precaution put their spacesuits on. After switching on their helmet radios they hear a strange voice calling Hello Luna! They conclude that there must be someone inside the ship.
The strange voice calling the Luna crew is in English and assures the crew that they only want to help them. The strange voice asks them to come into his spaceship but Lemmy balks and asks that he show himself. The voice replies that he can’t and explains that he is not inside the ship. He further explains that they are in danger if they remain where they are. He assures them that if they get into his ship they will not be harmed.

Space Travel Hero Role:
Andrew Faulds was the actor who played Captain Jet Morgan In the classic BBC radio serial of the 1950′s “Journey Into Space .”
Space Travel Bio:
After graduating from the University of Glasgow, he joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1948 but first came to a wider public recognition playing Jet Morgan in Charles Chilton’s radio drama Journey Into Space on the BBC Light Programme.

Our story opens in a wintry small town in Ohio in January 1999 when a flooding sea of hot hair crosses the land. A little girl explains it is “Rocket Summer” where nearby a rocket launches toward Mars.

Cast of Buck Rogers In The 25th Century
This, the first episode in the new 1939 series of Buck Rogers In The 25th Century, opens in the capital city of 25th century America, Niagara. We find Buck in Dr. Huer’s laboratory with Wilma Deering. Buck has just been hypnotized by Dr Huer’s Electro-Hypnotic Ray. He is lying asleep under the Electro-Hypno-Mentalophone. This device will allow someone to hear what a person is thinking by putting what they are thinking on a speaker.
To explain how the Electro-Hypno-Mentalophone works to Wilma, Dr. Huer demonstrates by asking Buck to tell them how he came to the 25th century.

Commander Corry is preparing to test the XR-51 a new experimental rocketship which when fully developed will allow one to control the ship with their mind without the use of their hands. But Major Robertson reports that one of the Space Patrol Technicians named Zero Vanick has stolen some of the special experimental Image Reactor Units from the XR-51.
Buzz Corry and Cadet Happy take off for Saturn after Vanick when they receive word from Space Patrol Headquarters that Space Patrol Ship T-523 has sighted an unidentified Private Cruiser heading for the Planetoid Belt. Buzz changes course and heads for the Planetoid Belt.

X-1 Classic Science Fiction Radio Show
Based on a story by science fiction legend Ray Bradbury originally titled Orphans of the Sky. The inhabitants of a generation starship, that is a space Ark, the humans have spent generations aboard, on a never ending journey to nowhere. They have been traveling for so many generations that they have long ago forgotten their origins and purpose. They think that their ship is the entire Universe, not realizing they live inside a spaceship, to them, “the Ship is All.”
The inhabitants are divided into two factions, the lower decks occupied by humans, and the upper by mutants.
