Where Tom Corbett, Captain Video, CMDR Corry and Other Spacemen Still Live

The Rocket Cruiser Toris a rescue ship from Titan with 50 children is stricken with the Titan disease and is missing. Dr. Lee, Tom and the rest of the Polaris crew search for the missing ship when Tom, still weak from being ill, makes a mistake in navigation. The Polaris is hit by a meteor, Captain Strong is knocked out and the Toris is found while on the way to Mars for repairs. The Polaris’s power system is out and Tom jumps to the Toris using an oxygen bottle as a jet. Tom uses the vaccine and the children on the Toris are saved.

The 1953 movie Planet Outlaws was re-edited from the 1939 Buck Rogers serial to feature format and re-released for theatrical distribution. Planet Outlaws tells the story of an American soldier suspended in time who wakes up to find himself in the futuristic world of the year 2500.

Three years after bringing science fiction to the world of comic strips in 1929, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century introduced space opera. Buck Rogers in the 25th Century first aired on November 7, 1932. Originating from New York and broadcast four times weekly the program had a built-in audience of funny-paper readers who tuned in by the hundreds of thousands.
